Frequently Asked Questions

Open the app and choose a username and password to create your account. You will receive an activation email to confirm your account and then you should be set up. Note: we suggest that each family share one user account, so make sure to choose a password that you can easily share with others in your family (they can all login in on their own devices but with the same credentials).

This type of basic owner profile is called a ‘user account’. Within your user account you are able to add one or multiple athlete profiles for any athletes in your family (go to ‘Athletes’ and click +). Similar to a Netflix account that hosts individual profiles for each family member. The user account acts as the ‘host account’ that houses all of the individual athlete profiles.

Navigate to the Games section in the app and filter by your name. You’ll see detailed stats for every game scored with 6-8 Game Desk, including your +/- Performance Indicator. You can create folders in the Games section (for events/ tournaments) and move games into those folders to keep everything organized.

68i is water polo’s first AI chat bot, built into the 6-8 app. 68i pulls information from a private 6-8 knowledge base created by Tony and Maggie (so use it as if you are asking questions directly to Tony and Maggie). Sample questions include how to prepare for games, what to do to stand out in ODP, nutrition tips, goal setting and much more.

Yes, your Athlete Profile is visible to college coaches via the 6-8 Dashboard. Think of the Dashboard as a public-facing extension of your mobile app profile. You can login to the Dashboard HERE and fill our additional fields such as achievement, highlight videos and references. College coaches can search for your based on your game/ testing data, GPA, location and other filters.
