What truly drew Water Polo Canada to the platform was the ability to synthesize two distinct types of data: the 6-8 Game Desk (live performance) and the 6-8 Challenge (physical testing). By housing this information in a central database, National Team coaches at every age level now have instant visibility into athlete performance across all of Canada.

The combination of these two in a central database allowed our Age Group National Team Coaches and Senior National team coaches to have visibility into athletes’ performances across Canada while also having access to objective testing data.

Global Visibility and Recruiting

The impact of this partnership extends beyond the National Team. By using a format that is becoming the “global language” of water polo, Canadian athletes are now better equipped for international recruitment. The intuitive plus-minus system allows even parent volunteers to capture complex game data, ensuring that every athlete—regardless of their location—has a verifiable digital resume they can share with colleges and professional programs globally.
